The International Office attended the 2022 China Student Abroad Forum
On April 22, Mr. Zhu Jiangyi from the International Office participated in the 2022 China Study Abroad Forum hosted by the China (Ministry of Education) Service Center for Study Abroad. This online live-stream forum invited Yan Bingchen, deputy director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education, Cheng Jiacai, director of the Chinese Ministry of Education Study Abroad Service Center and experts from domestic and foreign universities and other industries to conduct discussions on hot topics of international education to promote high-quality, sustainable development of China's study abroad industry, as a way of implementing the current strategy on developing a quality workforce.
With the theme of New Journey, New Mission, New Initiative – International Education and Talent Cultivation, this forum systematically analyzed the opportunities and challenges faced by the international cooperation in education and study abroad industry during the post-epidemic era in exchanging innovative ideas, key initiatives, and successful experiences in international education to enable them to respond to major concerns of overseas students and global educational institutions on hot issues in the field.
The forum, held 18 times by the Ministry of Education Service Center since 2004, has become an important platform for people interested in international education to keep up with the latest developments in this arena. The International Office also benefited, by learning about the updated policies and programs in global higher education, which will assist in the creation of more exchange opportunities for our teachers and students to study abroad in the future.
From this forum, the International Office learned more about the situation regarding higher education and the latest policies adopted by other countries, which will help BGD to develop more programs and build a high-quality platform for study abroad in the future.
